Important Tips
General
Whenever you need help or trouble-shouting, please understand that providing all your steps and every possible setting will allow 99% of the time to pin-point the cause right away. Most of the issues you find have already been experienced by other users before. It's rare for you to find a new bug that we haven't already covered. So by showing all small details, it speeds up greatly reaching a resolution. We found the best way to achieve this is by doing a video recording of their screen, this is superior to just screenshots or vague questions which lead to further ones and slow down the assistance process. We recommend using one of the programs that already comes preloaded in your operating system, then upload the video to the cloud, and submit the link to us.
If you go to the bottom of settings, where it says "Defaults", click on it, you will see "Save As Default". We have reason to believe this if used, introduce bugs or corrupt the chart when a new system update is released and previous saved settings are loaded. So please don't use this.
Yes, as mentioned above, charts/alerts can get corrupted. When you see a random or very weird error, there is the possibility it could be due to this. To fix this, please report to us, and delete previous charts/alerts and create new ones and redo alerts.
Each trading setup consist of a Backtest, and Alert system. We recommend to create a new chart for each setup, so things stay organized.
Backtest
TradingView has a bug where backtest signal when it is on new bar, it will behave strange, like changing entry/exit prices in mid-candle. Once the bar is closed, it updates itself back to the right price.
When using non-standard (Renko, Kagi, Line Break, Point and Figure, Heikin Ashi, Spread Charts) types of chart as a basis for our systems, you need to realize that the result will be different. The orders will be executed at the prices of this chart (e.g.for Heikin Ashi it will take Heikin Ashi prices (the average ones) not the real market prices). Since these types of charts aren't accurate, results would be misleading, false and could lead to losses. Therefore we highly recommend you to use standard chart type (Candles).
Alerts
Click on "Chart Properties", then "Style", and make sure "Borders" are unchecked. By default, it's checked, and it causes "Alerts" system to not show the colors' signals. Green for "ENTRY LONG", red for "ENTRY SHORT", and orange for "EXIT ALL".
When creating alerts, you must choose "Once Per Bar".
Settings used in Backtest must match those in Alerts including fees. Failing to do so will result in out of sync signals.
Please be aware alerts don't update themselves when changes to the scripts take place. Any modifications in settings, and the alert must be updated as well; easiest way to do so is removing previous alerts and create new ones, please avoid at all costs editing alerts.
Alerts will remain online for 32 days or if the risk threshold of the setup is breached.
